Why Participate in our Research?
Asthma is the most common chronic disease of the lungs. When asthma is not controlled, patients with asthma miss days from work or school and experience limitations on activity and disruptions to sleep. Uncontrolled asthma places patients at risk for emergency room visits, hospitalizations and poor outcomes from common respiratory infections such as influenza and COVID-19. Asthma research, such as that involved in this study, provides critical information to identify new treatments and new understandings that can improve the quality of life for patients with asthma.
Research studies need all different types of people to join to ensure the results benefit everyone.
Thank you for considering taking part in this important study.
